The White Event is the name given to a mysterious blinding flash of light which bathed the Earth on July 22, 2016, at 4:22am EST. The previous minute the Chinese, Russian & American early warning systems went offline. To date, research by an international team of scientists has not uncovered an explanation for the event or any ongoing effects. However, it is undeniable that something has . . . changed.

In the last four years, your life has gone on as normal. Your job, your family, your friends. Your joys, your troubles. All the same. But there was that one time the other day something unusual happened . . . what was that about?

Rex, Anthonii, and Duck gather round the table on the spur of the moment and discuss historical settings in RPGs. Does system matter in historical settings? What do players get out of playing in historical settings? Also, there may be some cries of "Squirrel!" and digressions from the main topic.

Matt, Backdoor, and Duck travel back in time to Ocean City, New Jersey. OCNJ is a town that has fallen on some rough times, and teens Lisa Flaherty and Zach Lewis are just trying to get by. The boys explore the Kids on Bikes RPG and the creepiness of a beach resort that has seen better days in this new adventure set in Jersey 83.

Zach and Lisa and in trouble and Constance shows up to help. She leads them on a path they were not expecting, and the kids rise to the occasion.

So you save a town from orcish raiders and get the cold shoulder in return. What the hell? That’s what’s up as Gutboy and Surian return Elmshire’s stolen loot. Instead of heartfelt thanks (and maybe a parade), nearly everyone wishes they’d leave. Like right now. Is something all wrong in Elmshire? What kind of question is that ... of course there is! Our boys get to the bottom of it with all the subtlety of a door flying off its hinges.
